Most of the people love to use the binoculars hands free. binocular mounts are used to mount the binoculars on a photo tripod. Usually some sort of L-brackets is used for mounting them on a tripod. Some of the binoculars come with a built-in mounting bush. There are different types of L-brackets available whose use differs according to your requirement. Tripods and Heads are the other parts which should be selected with care. If you are using your binoculars on higher altitudes then the height of the eyepiece decreases with the increase in your height of the eye as you tilt your head back. So there is a need of height adjustment. A risible center post tripod would be handy in this case. Moreover, it should not permit excessive vibration. Parallelogram mounts are really great; this allows you to change the height of the eyepiece without changing the view of the target object.
